How She Got Her Name

The first part of this post will be sad but the sad part is necessary to get to how she got her name. I have two older sisters – the oldest has 4 children, 2 boys and 2 girls, and the middle has 2 children, 1 boy and 1 girl. I was beyond happy and excited as each of my nieces and nephews entered this world and I am close to all of them. I bestowed on each of them my own special nickname and frequently call them by those nicknames – in public.And the kids don’t mind! In order of birth they are, Beaner, Super Chunk, Peanut, Minnie-Me, Kaboom and Goat-Butt. Awesome Saturday!

Yesterday I had the best *stress-free* saturday that I have had in a long time!  It started early with heading out to Bryce's  first birthday party.  The party was held at a really great local park that has plenty to keep children occupied and happy.  First on Reagan's agenda was the really fun playground - and the big kid section at that! From there it was on to the Splash park.  She didn't play in the water as much as she ran around the outside of it but the entire splash park is fenced in so I was able to just chill and watch without having to chase her all over the place. After a little bit of yummy food, it was time to check out her first ever Bounce House!  She was intimidated by it for about 3 whole seconds and then she had the concept down easily.  She loved it! It wasn't long before she figured out how to navigate to the top of the attached slide and Little Miss No Fear went down without hesitation.  It is easily the highest slide she'...

Psssssst.....Wanna hear a secret?

So I have a secret.  A secret I've had since November.  It's a pretty awesome secret too.  A few people knew about the secret but not yet "the world".  Keeping secrets is fun and frustrating at the same time.  Thankfully something happened today and I don't have to keep the secret anymore. I am sure that some people might have a few guesses by now.  Probably had a guess or two just from reading the post title.  Some may even be right but probably more are wrong than are right.  But the ones that are wrong are most likely close, very close.  This secret is so AWESOME and so perfect and I can't even believe how lucky we are.  I am sure that by now y'all are thinking out with it already!  So okay, out with it.  I just wanted a little extra build up to fill the post preview. :-) Back in November we got a phone call from Reagan's birth parents.  They informed us they were expecting another baby due in May and that they want...
