Fun Weekend
We had a great time this weekend despite a Saturday afternoon fever. First thing Saturday morning we were on our way out to our friend Joseph's first ever soccer game - there is nothing better than 3 and 4 year olds chasing a soccer ball! Reagan had a blowout which required a bath and new clothes so we didn't get there until the very end. We then went to the playground on the property and were met up by our little friend Conner. The kids had a blast playing and climbing and running around. At lunch time we all moved to Chick-Fil-A and played on the indoor playground there.
After we got home, Reagan took a long nap and was up looking for her next adventure. Before long though she only wanted to snuggle with me on the couch. She felt very hot and it turned out she had a 102 fever. It was most likely a delayed reaction to her MMR vaccine because she was otherwise acting normally. Motrin brought it down to 99 within the hour and she was back up to playing. It went back up here and there but seemed to be gone by Sunday morning.
Sunday morning we got up early to get ready for Palm Sunday. It is always a chance that she will act up in church and usually that means filling the silence during silent prayer time. For some reason she just feels like that is the time to speak out - loudly! Thankfully though she was a calm and quiet angel and fell asleep during the sermon. We came home after, had lunch and lots of playtime. She decided Sunday was silly day and had me laughing most of the day with her crazy little antics. It was a wonderful weekend!
Hi Conner!
