36 Weeks Today! - Registry Info as Requested

Today our birth mother is 36 weeks pregnant.  One more week until he's considered full-term and four more weeks until his due date!  I can't believe how close it is getting.  We are so excited to meet him.

I have had a couple people ask me if I was having a shower or if I had registered anywhere and if so would I post the info.  As far as the shower goes - I don't think anyone is planning one for me and I wasn't exactly expecting one anyway.  :-)  I am, though, hoping to have a meet the baby party sometime after his birth so that everyone can see him.  As for registering, I did register at the request of some others for gift ideas.  I know I always appreciate having a list to pick from so I registered at Babies R Us and Target.  On those registries is a 2nd choice carrier - 2nd choice to my ultimate wish of this carrier or this one. 
  
With having two to take out very soon, a carrier that I can use for the infant or the toddler is at the tip-top of my wish list.  I realize it is pricey though AND my 1st choice for carrier isn't available through either store so I put the 2nd choice on there as well.

I have a black Baby Bjorn that is all yours if you don't get the ones you want. ;-) I used it with Bryce all the time and it was the only one that didn't make me feel like he was suffocating.

It's getting so close! How exciting!

We love, LOVE our Moby. it's the only carrier I've used that was awesomely comfortable and truly hands free (from day 3 - which was when we got home from the hospital and 1st put him in it). He's 7mon and it's still the only carrier I use with him - even though we have a Baby Bjorn, Snuggli, Maya Wrap, hiking backpack and pouch sling.

The first part of this post will be sad but the sad part is necessary to get to how she got her name. I have two older sisters – the oldest has 4 children, 2 boys and 2 girls, and the middle has 2 children, 1 boy and 1 girl. Chest Pain Scare and Why It Stinks to Be Almost Equally Left and Right Brain Dominant

So about 11p last Wednesday night I was sitting on the couch in my PJs watching TV and playing Candy Crush on my phone.  My husband Adam was in the garage finishing our daughter’s field day costume and my son was on his iPad next to me.  Out of nowhere I get this crushing, squeezing, pushing, vise-like pain in my chest – just below my breast bone.  It was so intense and so instant.  I sat there breathless and confused for a minute and then felt nauseous.  I tried leaning back, standing up, laying down, walking, etc. and nothing was doing anything to relieve the pain.  It wasn’t getting worse or better it was just constant.  My (split) brain starts having an argument with itself that went on for 30 minutes something like this: Right Brain (RB) – OMG is this a heart attack?! Left Brain (LB) – No, don’t be silly, it CAN’T be a heart attack. RB – Are you sure because I think it is a heart attack and I’m about to freak out! LB – Nah, we are fine, maybe it’s a pulled muscle.
